From December 1st 2018 the Battery on the trolleys covered by a 24 month warranty which will automaticaly begin when the online registration form has been completed or from 2 days after the delivery / collection date. The battery chargers are covered by a 12 month warranty.The warranty covers any manufacturing defects that occur during normal operating use. Breakages which are caused by accidental damage or as a result of misuse or commercial use are not covered. All trolleys are covered by a 12month warranty from date of purchase.

The Smartcaddy warranty covers purchases made in the UK and Republic of Ireland and usage of the trolley,battery and charger in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The warranty for Europe and the rest of the world is the same, but the procedure differs slightly. For this procedure please send an e-mail to info@smartcaddy.co.uk

If you have any problems with your trolley and battery/charger call us direct on 01159 361007. In the unlikely event a warranty claim is made please provide your proof of purchase.

In the event of a claim being made and we diagnose that a spare part is required, we will send it to you by 1st class post along with simple to follow fitting instructions. If this is not possible we will collect, repair the trolley. The customer is liable for the cost of returning the trolley. However if the problem is deemed to be within the scope of the warranty, the cost will be reimbursed. In the case of a faulty trolley the original packaging must be used for collection/delivery purposes. If the original packaging is not available we will supply new packaging at a cost of £30.00. In the event of a battery failing, the battery is to be returned to Smartcaddy for checking / replacement at the customers cost.

If the fault is not covered by the above warranty conditions, you will be liable for the post and admin charges of £35.00 plus the cost of replacement parts and labour. In the unlikely event that the trolley,charger or battery cannot be repaired a replacement will be given. Any repairs or replacements that are given without charge will not have a new warranty period beyond that of the original purchase.

The warranties described above are an extra benefit and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. The warranties only apply to original purchaser, and cannot be transferred.

Remember, the warranty begins automatically 2 days after delivery, But you must also fill in the online registartion form.

For a refund if you are not entirely satisfied, the trolley will need to be returned in the original packaging and in an unused condition. This must be acknowleged witin 14 days of receipt of the trolley. The return of the trolley from UK, Europe and the rest of the world will be at the expense of the buyer.

The 24 month warranty applies to purchases made from December 1st 2018. The Lithium batteries are warranted to 80% of their original capacity.

The electric trolleys are rated for noise to a maximum of 60db
